Enviromental Award open to printers around the world

Kodak awarded 52 printers from around the world, a record number, the 2019 SONORA Plate Green Leaf Award. Mitchell Press of Vancouver was the only Canadian winner and was one if seven North American printers.  The program, now in its seventh year, celebrates printers who are leaders in adopting sustainable practices that benefit the environment, their business and their customers.In addition to integrating KODAK SONORA Process Free Plates into their operations, each of the 52 companies demonstrated an ongoing commitment to investing in sustainable business practices.

The winners were judged on a range of criteria by Kodak’s Health Safety & Environmental team, with special recognition going to the top-scoring

printers from each region. 

In business since 1928, Mitchell Press is a family-owned, web commercial printer located in Burnaby BC. They are listed as Canada's sixty fourth largest printer by Graphic Monthly.
