Petro-tech Printing has been bought by Carbon Copy Digital ( just renamed Carbon Graphics) . Petro-tech is a 50 year old printer near the downtown core of Calgary. They have small offset, digital and wide format. They have a staff of 18 in about 10,000 square feet. Most of their customers fit into general printing ( letterheads, envelopes, brochures. They deal happened at the end of May. All the staff have been given offered jobs. 

New name and logo for Carbon Copy Digital

 Carbon Graphics Group ( known as Carbon Copy Digital for over 40 years) head office is only 9 blocks away. Their roots are in the reproduction business with a strong client base in construction and engineering. Most of their customers do not overlap with Petro-tech. Carbon has digital presses, wide format and CAD equipment. Petro-tech will be moving into Carbon's Calgary plant of over 28.000 sq. ft. They will have a combined staff of 70 people once the move is complete.
