Some of the equipment out of Ricter Web

 Hamilton Web Printing has added an additional four colour tower to their pressroom. The press came from Ricter Web which closed down the end of last year .They now have six four colour towers and four one colour towers . Hamilton Web shares the same building with Hamilton Community News.The upgrade will enable the plant to continue printing up to 56

newspaper pages of various widths and in colour in a single production run.The plant is completely cold set web printing with Goss community presses .  Hamilton Web employs 25 people and is owned by Torstar. This has nothing to do with the closing of the Hamilton Spectator.
