LONDON, ONT—Former owner of graphic arts equipment company Robert E Thistle Ltd., Robert Thistle passed away last Saturday at the age of 77 after a long illness. Thistle ran the company since its inception in 1972 until selling it to his son, Steve, in 2006 who moved the company from Pickering to Markham, Ont.

The service for Thistle will be at First Alliance Church, 3250 Finch Avenue East, Scarborough (on Finch one block west of Warden) on Saturday February 6th at 2:00pm with a reception afterwards
