Russ Burrell Of Adventure Graphics Passes Away
TORONTO—
a testament to the trust and camaraderie he fostered within the industry. In 2002 Adventure partner, Jenny Burrell, wife of president Russ Burrell says that a buyer was interested in the 24-year-old business, but backed out due to financing problems. After the deal fell through, nearing retirement the Burrells decided not to continue the company and wind down it down. Beyond his industry accomplishments, Russ was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

Russ Burrell an industry veteran recently passed away. In 1978, Russ realized his lifelong dream of founding his own printing company, Adventure Graphics Inc. Under his leadership, Adventure Graphics Inc. flourished as a provider of Trade Only short run snap sets and forms, known for its quality, innovation, and customer service. Adventure Graphic used OPM web press that were made in Toronto and ideal for snap sets. Many of Adventure Graphics' clients became lifelong friends to Russ and his family,

Sad to hear.
I worked at Adventure as a second job for a number of years when I first emigrated to Canada in late 1980's early 1990's. Many evenings and weekends running their Multi's and Hospital Menus. I found Russ and everyone of the staff I encountered welcoming. I remember specifically the "work outing/picnic" at Toronto island with my young family. One of very few places I have worked that hold fond memories.
Learned a few work and life lessons along the way.
