Printing shipments up in early 2012, down in March
OTTAWA—Here's something we haven't seen for a long time: printing volume actually increased in early 2012, with shipments up in January and February compared to the same months last year (up 1.4% in January and 3.4% in February). The numbers were down in March, but let's hope this is a glitch and the upward trend holds.

Shipments March 2012 March 2011 % change
March ($M) $656.5 $735.2 -12.0
YTD ($B) $1.8 $1.9 -2.8
