Manroland has investor for sheet fed division
AUGSBURG, GERMANY—Manroland's sheetfed business has found an investor in Langley Holdings of Nottinghamshire, England, according to a press release posted on whattheythink.com today.

Langley Holdings is a privately-owned engineering group. The takeover involves the sheet fed printing equipment division and production facilities (including all real estate in Offenbach, Germany).

"I am very pleased with the solution which will provide a long-term perspective to the Offenbach location and the sheet fed printing business," said Werner Schneider, insolvency administrator, in the release, which adds, "Roughly 860 future employees in Offenbach will be taken over according to the present staff planning."

Manroland's web press unit was bought recently by German industrial conglomerate Possehl & Co.
