ROCHESTER, NEW YORK,—   Xerox Proficio Jet CF1200 is a continuous-feed inkjet press that uses third-party developed piezoelectric drop-on-demand printheads with three-level gradation and up to three drop sizes. The press delivers speeds of up to 160m/min (525 feet/min) at 1,200dpi. Billed as “the smallest 20-inch press in its class” at 8.5m (28 feet) long, the press can handle between four million and 30 million letter/A4 impressions per month. Questions have been asked if Xerox was abandoning the commercial print market (or high volume print)  after they stoped making its iGen5 and Nuvera digital presses and then the acquisition of Lexmark.
