HOLLAND—  Durst will acquire the MPS holding company, and the Netherlands-based press manufacturer will become part of Durst under the name MPS – A Durst Group Company. Durst said that the addition of MPS would broaden its technology platform, bringing additional flexographic tech to the group along with engineering expertise and “deep application know-how”. MPS makes presses used for the label and flexible packaging industry, along with converting equipment. MPS has more than 800 installations around the world. The MPS management team remains in place. Current CEO Michiel Borst will become managing director of MPS .
