BRITAIN—  Friedheim International has expanded its portfolio with the launch of a new ‘high-speed’ folder range. The company developed the folding equipment in collaboration with AOQI, a Chinese manufacturer of folding machines. Attractive price points and short lead times are noted by Friedheim as key advantages of the new product. Depending on the model, the range has speeds of up to 220m/min and can work with paper sizes from 70mm up to 1,150mm. The machines are capable of delivering high productivity levels, according to Friedheim, and combine AOQI's "quality engineering with user-friendly operation". There are two ranges available featuring different model sizes. One includes the FI480 and FI600 which cater to larger product formats at two widths, being 480x1,150mm or 600x1,150mm. Additionally, there is the FI36, FI48, and FI57 which are different size variations of the same model, dealing with paper widths of 360x1,000mm, 480x1,000mm and 570x1,000mm respectively.
