Durst Buys Hasler Cutting Systems
BRIXEN, ITALY—
Durst has acquired the majority stake in Spanish cutting systems company Hasler Solutions. The Hasler equipment range includes the 5.1m-wide Magna production cutter, available in various lengths between 2.5m and 5.3m, and with a cutting speed up to 120m/min. Hasler has 20 years of experience in the field automatic cutting solutions. With locations in Spain and Germany Hasler offers cutting
solutions for all markets, such as graphic industry, tech. textile and composite, textile and leather industry. Hasler managing director and co-owner Marc Hasler, who Gamper described as “the driving force behind the business”, is staying on as part of the deal. Durst is a major equipment for digital printing including large-format, labels and corrugated. In the last tow years Durst has bought Callus Software.
