AUGSBURG, GERMANY—  HP Inc. and manroland Goss have signed a reseller agreement for the digital finishing solutions FormerLine and FoldLine. These high-performance folding systems complement the HP PageWide Web Press series of inkjet web printing platforms, enabling fully integrated production lines from print to finished book blocks or newspaper products. While the FormerLine is designed as a roll-to-book block solution for short and medium book runs, the FoldLine offers a flexible multi- purpose system suited for a wide range of applications – from traditional newspaper formats to stitched products and various book block configurations. Manroland Goss is the worlds largest web press manufacturer and has been trying to diversify from just building presses. They have bought companies that make peripheral products such as Harland Simon, Thallo web packaging business, GWS Systems and launched GPD Foodpackaging Co.
