Abacus Signs Shuts Down.
SASKATOON, SASKATCHEWAN—
Abacus Signs Ltd. has voluntary closed it doors . Founded in 1979 the owners sent a letter to customers from President Rob Cremers saying they were closing saying "economics can no longer support keeping the doors open". The operation had been reducing in size over the last several years.
The operation was about 2000 square feet with a few remaining employees.The main equipment was a Agfa flatbed. They stopped taking orders and have referred business to Wolfecrof Signs also of Saskatoon. Phone number and website have been disconnected . Employees are now working at other sign shops. The owners also had other business interests not in the industry. PrintCAN NEWS was not able to connect with the owners for comments.
