Battlefield Adds Allpro 110 Folder Gluer
BURLINGTON, ONTARIO—
Battlefield Press has added a new Koenig & Bauer Allpro 110 folder gluer will enhance its bindery. throughput, a deal that Battlefield’s vice president of manufacturing Matt Theoret inked at Drupa, Allpro 110 folder gluer provides Battlefield with new capabilities and automated production for its broad range of folding carton styles, such as straight-line, crash-lock, double-wall, four- and six-corner designs and individually customized boxes.
Allpro 110’s maximum production speed of up to 400 m/min, its fully automatic processes, and memory functions to achieve the shortest possible makeready times. An intuitive, touchscreen-based operating system provides for exceptional ease of operation.
Battlefield Press was founded in 1964, family-owned and now is in its third generation. Battlefield Press has 45,000 sq ft plant outside of Toronto has 60-employee. It was also the first printer in Canada to have a 12-colour perfector press. In 2016, it was the first Canadian printer to win Sappi's Printer of the Year Award. Battlefield focuses on the automotive, pharmaceutical, in-store POP, direct mail and product package printing.,
