 Management of Roland DG have succeeded in getting a majority stake in the business after increasing its offer. Management increased its offer after a hostile counter-bid from Brother Industries. Brother acquired inkjet printing Domino Printing Sciences in 2015. Management plans to purchase all of the Roland DG shares and

ultimately Roland DG will be delisted from the Tokyo Stock Exchange and taken private. Roland DG is a Japanese manufacturer of equipment include wide-format inkjet printers, vinyl cutters, printer-cutters, object printers and dye sublimation transfer printers for textiles. Roland DG has sales  of ¥54bn ( $462 million ) . Roland DG last year bought majority control of Dimense, digital embossing technology arm of inks manufacturer Veika.
