Winskill's Closes Down
SCARBOROUGH, TORONTO—
Winskill's a finishing house in the GTA market has closed down. An action was held on June 6th . Finishing services to the trade included: die making, Die cutting, Gluing, Folding, Embossing and debossing. Skyrocketing rent was the reason for the closing. Equipment included three Bobst, Bobst Gluer and two Moll gluers.
The plant manager and some of the staff have gone over to Belmont Press. Windskill's started as small company with just one diecutting machine in 1987. Winskill’s in 2007 expanded to 31,000 square feet. A growing number of companies from the printing industry in the Toronto market are merging with others or closing down because of astronomical rent increases.
