SOESTERBERG, NETHERLANDS—  Manroland Gross and GWS Printing Systems B.V has announced the acquisition of Galred Europe B.V, an established dealer in the used packaging industry. This is expands GWS’s presence and offerings in the used equipment sector now including packaging. Galred provides  used equipment packaging solutions to a wide range and international customer base, focusing on rotogravure, flexo, pouch making and extruding equipment. This acquisition creates one of Europes largest used graphic dealers.  They claim delivering value and service to customers worldwide.  GWS will now  offer a one-stop-shop experience for clients seeking reliable and cost-effective packaging solutions. “The acquisition of Galred as add-on to our used equipment specialist GWS will allow manroland Gross to further expand our footprint in the hands-on used equipment market, and it demonstrates another strategic milestone in the Group’s favorable development,” said CEO of manroland Gross Franz Kriechbaum.
