Vistaprint Sales Increase But Not Bottomline
WINDSOR , ONTARIO—
Cimpress (parent of Vistaprint) has come out of Covid-19 and returned to sales growth, achieving a record revenue level even before releasing fiscal Q4 figures. However, it has seen a deterioration in both gross margin and net income, having made a loss for the last 3 years. This has forced the Cimpress to accrue high levels of debt and has also seen its cash flow go negative
on a levered basis; additionally, book value has gone negative. Vista brand is yet to fully recover as the group nears the end of a huge three-year rebuild . Founder, chairman and CEO Robert Keane said “While Vista's profit continues to be constrained by the significant investments we have made, following the completion of its technology migration. Vistaprint is the second largest printer in Canada with about $750 million in sales. Vistaprint's largest printing operation in North America is in Windsor Ontario.
