Epson Launches Two New 44" Printers
MARKHAM , ONTARIO—
Epson has launched two new 44-inch dye-sub printers designed for low to medium-volume printing. The four-colour SureColor SC-F6400 and six-colour SureColor SC-F6400H are suitable for applications such as textile production, personalised products, and high-end photo reproduction.Epson claims the printers offer a range of significant improvements, including increased productivity and reduced wastage.
As Epson’s first six-colour 44-inch dye-sub printer, the manufacturer said the SC-F6400H opens the door to an expanded range of potential applications for both textile and rigid substrates, and would be of particular interest to those producing fashion, homewear, sportswear, soft signage, and promotional items. The machine will come with a take-up reel included. Both printers also include new, higher-capacity ink packs to reduce replacement frequency and waste, and also feature a new 4.3-inch touch screen which is 30% larger than the previous model.
