KBR Graphics Closes Down
MONTREAL—
KBR Graphics, one of Canada's oldest independent printing equipment dealers has closed it's doors. It appears the slowdown in new equipment sales made it difficult for them to keep going . They had a staff of around 10 and primarily sold in Quebec and Ontario. They serviced what they sold and had several mechanics .
Started in 1976 KBR has in the past represented such manufactures as Itek Graphix, Hamada, Ryobi, Challenge and KBA. KBR had the Standard/Horizon dealership for Quebec for at least 40 years. It was handling Graphic Whizard, Spiel, Ideal-MBM , Perfecta Wohlenberg and the Ryobi MHI offset presses (Mitsubishi/Ryobi) before it closed. PrintCAN was not able to reach any of the principals for comment.
