MONTREAL— KBR Graphics, one of Canada's oldest independent printing equipment dealers  has closed it's doors. It appears the slowdown in new equipment sales made it difficult for them to keep going . They had a staff of around 10 and primarily sold in Quebec and Ontario. They serviced what they sold and had several mechanics .  Started in 1976 KBR has in the past  represented such manufactures as Itek Graphix, Hamada, Ryobi, Challenge  and KBA.  KBR had the Standard/Horizon dealership for Quebec for at least 40 years. It was handling Graphic Whizard, Spiel, Ideal-MBM , Perfecta Wohlenberg and the Ryobi MHI offset presses (Mitsubishi/Ryobi) before it closed. PrintCAN was not able to reach any of the principals for comment.
