St. Josephs Buys Magazine Division of Rogers
TORONTO—
St. Joseph Communications ( Printing) has bought the magazine division of Rogers. All printing will be moved to St. Joseph printing plant in Concord. Most of Rogers magazines have been printed by Transcontinental at it's plant in Aurora. How much of a dent it will make in the Aurora plants operation is not known. Titles such as Maclean's Magazine, Chatelaine, Hello and Today's Parents will be joining St. Joseph's publishing division.
St. Joseph has a magazine division that includes Toronto Life, Weddingbells, Fashion Magazine and regional magazines in Vancouver, Calgary and Ottawa. The magazine division of Rogers has been rumoured up for sales for months. This will make St. Joseph the largest magazine publisher in Canada and the largest integrated printer publisher.
