SWEDEN—  Watkiss Automation has been bought by rival manufacturer Plockmatic Group. The Stockholm, Sweden group Plockmatic’s has been acquiring other bindery equipment manufactures . Plockmatic bought Morgana of Britain in 2013 and in 2016 bought Italian bindery manufacturer KGS Bindery. Watkiss machines are sold by OEM dealers worldwide under the PowerSquare brand. Watkiss  sells offline booklet making systems. The company was previously owned by the Watkiss family. Plockmatic has seen a growth in bookletmaking applications in the inkjet cut-sheet segment. Inkjet has made digital print for longer runs for catalogues, magazines, brochures and other documents more cost-effective Plockmatic claims. The Canadian dealer for Plockmatic/Morgana is Sydney Stone.
