Graphic Packaging and International Paper Packaging Merg

Graphic Packaging and International Paper's Packaging operations are merging to create one of North America's largest folding caton and packaging manufactures. The new company Graphic Packaging International will have sales over $6 billion US. They will have plants in Canada , US and Europe. International Paper will own 20% of the new company.

Graphic Packaging has plants in Winnipeg, Mississauga and Cobourg Ontario . They were listed as Canada's sixth largest printer with about a quarter of a billion in sales by Graphic Monthly. They have almost 700 employees in Canada. Printing packaging and label products.The company was formally Cascades, Normpac Boxboard .
