SGP seeks public review on latest print facility certification criteria
SAYVILLE, NY—

The Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP), a non-profit organization that certifies printing facilities sustainability best practices, has announced the release of its draft 2016 print shop sustainability certification criteria. The organization is seeking review and comments from those in the industry.

The SGP certification will review the economic, environmental and social responsibility criteria for print facilities in Canada and the United States. It was initially launched in August 2008 and was reviewed and updated in May 2011. During a 2011 SGP board meeting, a decision was made to update and review the criteria every five years.

The organization must receive comments on the revised criteria document no later than close of business day on March 14, 2016. Comments can be submitted via email at info@sgppartnership.org using the Subject line: Comments on 2016 Proposed Certification Criteria.
