GUELPH, ON—Ampersand Printing has purchased a Morgana AutoCreaser 50 PRO, upgrading from its Morgana DigiFold, which was purchased nine years ago.

“When we originally purchased the Morgana DigiFold we were dealing with a lot of short run work that had high coverage and was prone to marking,” Damian McDonald of Ampersand Printing said. “Over time we have shifted technology and our requirement became creasing of high quantities of both 12 and 14 point card stocks and lighter weight stock to feed our high capacity folding machines. This new Morgana AutoCreaser 50 PRO is exactly what we needed to remove the bottleneck.”

The AutoCreaser 50 PRO has smart screen technology and the ability to accurately crease up to 8,500 sheets per hour on a 19.6” sheet width—eliminating cracking on digital and offset printed work. The new Morgana was installed by Sydney Stone.
