OTTAWA—The Canadian Printing Industries Association (CPIA) has announced that Brian Ellis, former director of marketing for Heidelberg Canada, will join the organization as the executive director, starting July 1.

The CPIA works towards advancement of the prepress, press and bindery industries across Canada.
Ellis has experience in printing technologies, business processes and education and the graphic arts industry. His new position will focus       on print advocacy, sustainability, education and market intelligence.

“We are very fortunate to have Brian join us with his strong connection to our industry, especially now as we launch many new initiatives to provide increased benefits to our members,” Sandy Stephens, CPIA chairman said.
