Canada receives four awards at North America Printer of the Year Awards
BOSTON—Sappi Fine Paper has announced the winners for its 2014 North America Printer of the Year Awards and four Canadian companies came away with silver awards in various categories.
Hemlock Printers Ltd. from Burnaby, BC, won in the Printers Own Promotion category; St. Joseph Print from Concord, Ont, in the Magazines Web category; Blanchette Press from Richmond, BC, in the Books category; and Flash Reproductions from Toronto, in Magazines-Sheet category.
Silver award winners receive a framed certificate for themselves and clients.
Created in 1999, the 17th annual awards aim to recognize innovation and excellence in the printing industry. This year the judges—four print institution and trade professionals— had over 1,700 entries to choose from.
All winners are showcased on the Sappi awards website and social media channels, allowing them to connect with designers, buyers and corporations.
