PrintSites2Go launched by Printer Gateway
TORONTO—A new web storefront service now offers print shops another option to fulfill customer orders online.

PrintSites2Go has partnered exclusively with Printer Gateway to sell the service, which allows printers to customize their online storefront with unique products and promotions, explained Brian Armstrong, president of Printer Gateway.

When an order is received through the service, printers have the option to modify or fix the files, as well as judge whether to do the job in-house based on wholesale prices or pass it on to Printer Gateway, said Armstrong.

The application, two years in the making, is hosted on each printer's server, with its own domain name. Retail prices can be adjusted for a selected markup, which automatically adjusts if wholesale prices change.

The storefront user can select shipping terms, including COD, shipped to a location for pick-up, or blind-shipped directly to the client.

PrintSites2Go launched at the recent Graphics Canada show, and around 100 printers are using it so far, Armstrong said. It officially launches Jan. 1, but the membership prices (from $59 a month) will rise at that time, he said.

A webinar is being offered on Dec. 1 to printers and print brokers looking for more information on PrintSites2Go. To register, click here and enter 739 549 646 as the meeting number, and "print" as the password.
