EDMONTON ,—  Burke Group has acquired Cowan Graphics, a Canadian large-format printing and signage company with nearly 80 years of industry experience. Founded in 1945, Cowan Graphics specializes in large-format printing, vehicle wraps, building and environmental signage, retail and event signage, murals, decals, and specialty graphics. With operations in Edmonton, Calgary and Saskatoon. Head office in Edmonton is a 150,000 Sq. Ft. plant. This acquisition adds production capacity and technical expertise to Burke’s existing operations, particularly for high-volume projects. Burke Group was originally known as Douglas Printing, Burke Group has made multiple acquisitions over the years including McCallum Printing, Topline Printing , Printcor, Busy B's Bindery, Skyline Sign , Capital Colour Press, Priority Printing and recently SignCraft of Calgary.
