Applications up for Ryerson GCM program
TORONTO—Ryerson University received 816 applications to its School of Graphic Communications Management program this year, the highest number ever, the school announced recently. The school has admitted 130 of those applicants, including Christina Alcena of Windsor, Ont., who will receive the Terence Grier Entrance Scholarship (full tuition for one year) on account of her academic achievements and "exceptional interest" in printing.

In related news, Nicky Milner, vice president of premedia for Transcontinental Inc. has joined the GCM Advistory Council, succeeding Guy Manuel, former president for Transcontinental's printing, marketing, products & services sector, who has left the company.
