—  Ricoh has launch its direct-to-film (DTF) application for the Pro TF6251 UV flatbed direct-to-film printer. The Pro TF6251 Wide Format UV LED flatbed printer makes it easy to produce applications on rigid substrates up to 4.3" thick. Print directly on a range of rigid substrates at speeds up to 1,251.8 ft2/hr. in four-colour draft mode and 522ft2/hr. in four-colour standard mode. Using a new and purpose-built DTF inkset, the flatbed will likewise feature a new powder shaker: altogether, Ricoh claimed, the printer will represent “the lowest total cost of ownership in the market coupled with unprecedented speed”.
