Emballage Mega Packaging Buys Rapida 106 Six With Hybrid UV with Coater.
MONTREAL, QUEBEC—
Emballages Mega Packaging has bought new generation fully-loaded Koenig & Bauer Rapida 106 six-colour press hybrid UV with coater. Speed, quality, and automation are at the heart of Mega’s new Rapida 106. Capable of handling a board thickness of up to 48 pt, the new Rapida 106 is equipped with a fully automatic logistics systems for continuous running on the thickest materials. Both colour and quality control are emphasized with the QualiTronic ColorControl inline colour control system and fast makeready tools utilizing unbent printing plates.
Koenig & Bauer’s unique SIS Sensoric Infeed System, which requires no setting and ensures mark free, reliable feeding. Fully automatic plate changing, real-time performance monitoring, and simultaneous roller washing are among the other automated features of Mega’s
press.The new Rapida 106 will be 50% more efficient---double the firm’s current rate. Emballage Mega Packaging was started in 1991 and specializes in folding cartons . Operate from a 50,000 plus sq. ft. plant with a staff of just under 50.
