BARRIE, ONTARIO—  Roland DGA has announced six new machines in its TrueVis line of digital presses, including five new UV-LED printer-cutters and the manufacturer’s first water-based resin ink machine, the AP640. The AP640, a 1,200 dpi four-colour 1.6m-wide printer and has unique drying system. Roland’s launch also includes two new series of printer-cutters, the higher productivity LG series and multi-function MG series.The LG series, available in 64, 54 and 30 inch models called 640, 540 and 300 respectively. The two larger printers will be able to run up to eight colours. The MG series, available in 30 and 64 inch sizes.
