Fujifilm upgrades J Press 750S
CHICAGO—
Fujifilm is introducing a new High Value model to its J Press 750S High Speed Model that offers a third production option in addition to its existing High Quality and High Performance modes. The new High Value mode sits in between J Press High Quality and High Performance modes. It prints at the same 1,200x1,200dpi native resolution as High Quality mode, but without the need for the rapid coagulation primer (RCP). Fujifilm is also introducing the option of increased feed and delivery stack heights to the J Press 750S.
The additional 300mm height means 1,000 extra sheets of 300μm folding carton board – an increase of 37% – can be used. The J Press 750S is Fujifilm's 3rd generation of the industry’s leading production inkjet sheet-fed press. Featuring a new larger sheet size of 23” x 29.5” and an increased speed of 3,600 sheets per hour the J Press 750S doubles the output of letter size documents over the previous generations. Delivering a quality that is better than offset the J Press 750S is designed to take the very best of offset and the very best of digital and bring even more value by taking on more jobs and longer run lengths as a result of the increased level of productivity. There will be an additional cost to existing users should they wish to add the upgraded features, with Fujifilm engineers visiting customer sites to assist with this process.
