Ian Buckham Retires from Beatty Printing
NORTH BAY , ONTARIO—

After 32 years as owner of Beatty Printing, Ian Buckham retired at the end of February. He handed the reins to manager Rebecca Robertson, who is also from the area. The business was purchased late last year by Aylmer Express Graphics Group. Mr. Buckham is a Ryerson graduate and worked in the Toronto print trade for a few years before he bought Beatty in 1990 from Temiskaming Printing of New Liskeard.

Beatty Printing, a commercial printer in North Bay. Beatty Printing has a 4-colour GTO , letterpress , bindery equipment (including a
perfect binder) ,digital presses as well as large format print and graphic design. A staff of four. The company is in a  3000 Sq. Ft. downtown location. The company was founded by jack Beatty in 1958.Aylmer Express President John Hueston said Mr. Buckham ran a great business while looking after his customers, his staff, and his community, which was part of the reason the Express was interested in the business in the first place. “The legacy he leaves dovetails completely with our culture.”
