MPI Print Buys Point-One Graphics Assets
ETOBICOKE ( TORONTO)—
Pal Dhanju President of MPI Print has confirmed they have bought the assets of Point-One Graphics. Including 2 eight colour XL 106 Heidelbergs with sheeters , Manroland 16 page web and four saddle stichers. MPI says they are retained most of the staff and will remain at the Vansco Rd. Location. Point-One once one of Toronto's largest trade printers with sales over $37 million and a staff of 175. They sold their 70,000 sq. Ft. Plant last year and consolidated into the back half of the building . Most of their business came from Printing Brokers and sales have dropped off during the Pandemic. Point-One could not be reached for comments.
Founded in 1998 as Millennium Printing and now called MPI Print , is a trade printer with plants in Mississauga and Mount Forest with combined space of 95,000 ft². The company is run by brothers Pal and Robbie Dhanju. MPI Print has a fleet of Heidelberg and Mitsubishi , 6,8 and 10 colour 40 inch sheet fed offsets , three headset webs and three 40" die cutters.
