Beatty Printing Sold To Aylmer Express
NORTH BAY—
Aylmer Express Graphics announced that it has acquired Beatty Printing, a commercial printer in North Bay. Beatty Printing has a 4-colour GTO , letterpress , bindery equipment (including a perfect binder) ,digital presses as well as large format print and graphic design. A staff of four. All staff were retained and will continue to run the business in its 3000 Sq. Ft. downtown location. Ian Buckham bought the company in 1990 from Temiskaming Printing of New Liskeard. The company was founded by jack Beatty in 1958. Aylmer Express President John Hueston said “I’ve been coming to this area for decades and Beatty has always had an excellent reputation.”

Express (AE Graphics Group ) is one of the largest independent printer in South Western Ontario. They have four locations and own AE Graphics Group , Barney Printing, Accell Graphics and Westminister International . Total staff in the printing operations is around 100 employees and sales are estimated at around $15 million. The company started as a community newspaper but most of their income is now from printing operations.
