Mactac Buys Spinnaker Coatings and Duramark
TROY , OHIO—
Mactac announces the acquisition of Spinnaker Coating. Spinnaker, which specializes in the customized production and distribution of pressure-sensitive roll label and sheet base materials. With $130 million of specialty revenue and was sold for $40 million. The asset purchase consists of Spinnaker’s manufacturing facility and headquarters based in Troy, Ohio, and North American distribution centers located in Atlanta, Georgia; Chicago, Illinois; Los Angeles, California; and, Vails Gate, New York. Spinnaker will operate as a standalone subsidiary of Mactac.

Mactac and its parent company, LINTEC, a global leader in the field of adhesive materials, will continue to invest heavily in R&D and operational enhancements as part of its strategic plan. Mactac is focused on market growth and operational expansion. Mactac Also bought Duramark of Minneapolis of Minnesota in April of 2021 . Expanded Mactac’s adhesive capabilities and production capacity with more facilities and locations. Mactac’s claims with the acquisition of Spinnaker, it will creates a one-of-a-kind, world-class specialty labeling company.
