VistaPrint Sales Bounce Back

 Cimpress (Parent company of  Vistaprint) results have bounced back from Covid-19 drop in sales and profits. Total sales were up 9% year-on-year to $849.7m  in second quarter, but operating margins slipped to 10% as Cimpress rolled out, its new Vista technology platform. Founder, chairman and CEO Robert Keane described the group’s overall results as “solid”, against a backdrop of “continued pandemic volatility and supply chain challenges” during the three months to 31 December and the busy Christmas season.

Cimpress expects to launch the new Vista platform in North America , during the third quarter. Robert Keane said the business remained confident about its ability to deliver “attractive returns” from the major investments being made, particularly at the Vista operation. Regarding the outlook, Keane said the pandemic was still causing volatility. Vistaprint's largest printing operation in North America is in Windsor Ontario.
