Trico Acquires Marquardt Printing
OTTAWA—
Trico Packaging & Printing Solutions acquired the assets of Marquardt Printing. Marquardt has been an Ottawa based printer since 1948. In 1996 Siegfried Schleich, now previous owner of Marquardt, acquired the company and has joined Trico's sales team. Marquardt is a direct mail and commercial printer and had staff of between 5-9 employees. Marquardt has moved into Trico's plant in Ottawa.

The Trico Packaging & Printing Solutions has almost 100 employees , three 40 sheet fed presses, 2 stitches, a perfect binder and mailing equipment . Trico Packaging and Print Solutions. Originally started in 1984 and was later merged with Delta and National Printing of Ottawa. Michael Hothi, the former general manager of Trico , purchased the company in late February of 2020. Trico has increasing sales from $7 million to around $20 million and bringing on additional staff.
