Mitchell Press has acquired the assets of award-winning custom bindery, North West Book Operating Company  of Bellingham, Washington. Founded in 1960 and operated by  Book Binder Tom Strohhacker, North West Book was a  high-end,  case-binding and custom box-making  bindery for decades. Tom passed away in  2018.

Larsen recently joined Mitchell to expand their in-house
custom-finishing devision. In business since 1928, Mitchell Press is a family-owned, web commercial printer located in Burnaby BC. They are listed as Canada's sixty fourth largest printer by Graphic Monthly.
