CCL Buys Two More Label Companies
TORONTO—

CCL Industries Inc. announced its acquisition of two  direct-to-end-user digital printing and software powered businesses in the badging and smart credentials market for its Avery segment. I.D.&C. World is in the live event badges and wristbands  with customers in more than 100 countries. IDentilam Ltd designs and develops a range of software solutions for event badging and identification cards along with digital printing services for customers across Europe.

The combined enterprise value of the two unrelated transactions is approximately $40 million.
“These two transactions expand Avery’s global presence in the growing badging space of our direct-to-end-user businesses bringing new capabilities in software and smart identification solutions," said Geoffrey T. Martin, president and CEO of CCL. CCL bought the Avery Label product line from Avery Dennison in 2013 for $500 million . CCL headquartered in Toronto is Canada's largest label company and has locations around the world.
