Carbon Tax Debate helps Label Business
TORONTO—
The political fight over the " carbon tax" is creating new label business for printers. The Ontario Government has ordered 25,000 decal labels from Astley Gilbert for $4,954. These labels have to be put on gas pumps or service station can be fined up to $10,000 per day. The Ontario Green party has printed their own parody label that says " climate change will cost us more.
They are giving them out free to service stations and the public. Some other groups in the carbon tax debate have indicated that they may have their own labels printed up. The ironic thing is the Premier Doug Fords company Decco which is in the label business never got any of the "carbon tax " label business.
