Xeikon Café: dry toner is the new distruptor
CHICAGO—
Xeikon Café attracted almost 400 clients, and media representatives, for three days of keynote speakers, seminars and customer panels that delved into industry trends and developments at Xeikon. A highlight of the event was a tour of Xeikon’s innovations facility where attendees were able to have a first-hand look at applications and samples.
Declaring that “Xeikon is the disruptor,” CEO Benoit Chatelard stressed that its continuous feed dry toner presses are the devices that make the most sense in the current environment.
The disruption the company seeks to unleash is the opportunity it sees in the gap between cutsheet toner and roll-fed inkjet. With an investment between $200,000 to $250,000 you can achieve high throughput and high quality with low running costs. A new company website, powerofdrytoner.com [insert hyperlink] devoted to promoting the value of dry toner has been created. The company launched the campaign for this message, along with a new platform—the CX500 r2r label press—and a new generation of dry toner.
