Transcontinental Does Better Than Expected

 Transcontinental sales have climbed by $616 million or 30% to $2.623 billion. Their profit has increased to $65 million or 21% to $367 million. The big increase was mainly from their acquisition of flexible package printer Coveris. They also sold off their regional and local newspapers in Quebec. They also sold off a newspaper web plant in San Francisco to Hearst.  
 
TC Transcontinental is Canada's largest printer with operations in printing and flexible packaging.Transcontinental  has more than 9,000 employees in Canada , United States and Latin America. With  revenues of $2.6 billion . They have been exiting the newspaper field and growing in packaging.
