BOSS LOGO Still Alive
CONCORD—
Still alive ( sort of)
Still alive ( sort of)
The ongoing saga of Boss Logo has gotten more complicated. After the doors were locked at the beginning of September ,customers were told to pick up their  jobs at Mi5's address in Mississauga. Phones were being answered at the Mississauga address. Late last week Boss Logo's address was changed to Basaltic Rd in Concord. The same address as MPI Print Concord location. .
Website is still alive
Website is still alive
MPI Print has confirmed Boss Logo is there and has not given any other details. What the current arrangement is or who owns what has not been answered. Last confirmed by the receiver MNP was that Boss Logo is in receivership not bankruptcy and equipment was in the recovers hands. Also a correction Boss Logo bought a Skodix not an MGI. Updates will appear as they become available.

Not once in the past 2 years have Boss provided my order on time. The last order I did cost me a client because it came in 5 weeks (yes 5 weeks) after the due which was supposed to be a 1 week turnaround which I gave them 3 weeks to print knowing they're usually late. After speaking with management with 1 week left they told me it would be ready to pick up the next day - why lie if nothing was actually printed. They never refunded the order (which was $600 worth) instead they gave me $30 off my next order ~ I reached out to the owner of the company with no response ~ after using them for nearly 20 years the last 3-4 years have been horrible. When I should up to pick up my order all dozen people in line had only complaints as well. While I NEVER WISH BAD on people especially businesses whatever went wrong its SAD but I'm not surprised that they closed the doors.

This is by far the worst company we have ever dealt with. The problem isn't the employees or the press managers who we feel bad for because they always got the short end of the stick.. The staff are rude, unorganized and hang up on you constantly. They don't call you back and they screen customer calls. So if you have a late order and you've been calling, they ignore you.

Used Bosslogo a number of times and had no real problems, aside from always being a bit slower than expected. I also had to have my last order refunded by my CC company. I submitted an order to PrinterBoss to match a previous job - my order has been in for over a month and hasn't even come off the press yet. Staff can't help. Sinalite or 4over would have had this job shipped in under a week. With zero communication it's kinda hard to give them the benefit of the doubt, especially when I see Kapil vacationing on facebook instead of dealing with his ridiculous mess of a company.

I am a printer in London Ontario, we use boss regularly but ONLY bc of the pricing and we always expect double the turnaround time. However, I had a few hundred dollars worth of jobs we had submitted via e-transfer which they refused to refund when it was cancelled weeks before they locked the doors.

I'm sad to see them go. I NEVER in all the years I have dealt with Boss Logo even before they changed their name to Boss I always had fast shipping, courtesous service and beautiful prints. I have even had Kapil call me personally and handle one of my orders because I sized it wrong and he re-did it for me. I have been using these for 10 years. I have never had a problem and Honestly I am shocked at some of the comments. I would have never guessed there were issues like this. Personally I will miss them. Thank you Kapil!!

Until recently we only had to deal with bad customer service. In September we put in 2 different orders neither of which was completed. The only way to get a refund was to call paypal and file a claim where it will take 10 business days to complete. Since than I seen unauthorized credit card charge by Mi5 and still haven't received a refund for it.

We have used Boss Logo for many many years and have put up with terrible customer service. They were also consistently unreliable. At times there were also quality issues with the jobs they printed for us. There were also times when the work they produced was beautiful and good value. We decided to take a chance and submit an order to the new Printer Boss since the website was still active. The order was sent on September 27th. Files were uploaded, payment was taken and the order was confirmed. As of October 9th the order has been in a holding pattern in "Ready to Print" I also sent out an email following up to all the contact emails that are listed at the website with no reply. Hopefully this will not be an exercise in futility. I will post again if the job gets completed.

First we were told our order with Boss Logo was being produced, they had our payment and were good to go. Then we were told to resubmit files. Meanwhile they took our payment. 3 weeks on and Today they say Boss Logo and Printer Boss have nothing to do with eachother and we have to provide proof that it was paid. Are you kidding me it was on credit card, they took our money and then denied it. Now they deleted the jobs off their server. It's one thing to transition a company but to treat customers like this is quite another.

I am waiting on business cards from boss logo - i've been chasing them since June. That XXXX thinks he can simply change the name of his company to avoid delivering our print jobs without refunding us.....???

@LocalPrinter - You must be the exception with regards to quality. I amongst others have had nothing but issues with orders being late, badly printed etc. and constantly lied to...not to mention having visa payments made without our consent. Hopefully they figure stuff out but I will be taking my work to others who contrary to what you say have never and better maintained equipment. Boss's fleet other than the Scodix Spot UV machine was 10+ years old and not well maintained. The owner would rather put his maintenance on his Ferrari lol

There was a message a few days ago on their site that they were indeed closing down, but that the President had moved on to a new company - "Printer Boss". Upon visiting the site, it was the Boss Logo site with a new name/logo. Now both the bosslogo.com and printerboss.com sites are down/gone. I can't imagine he'd be allowed to rename the site while Boss Logo is in receivership, so it makes sense that everything would have to go. It seems this may be the final nail in the coffin.

These guys were best in quality. Regardless of what anybody in industry says. I used them for one purpose only..QUALITY. Now that we are seeing what equipment they had. It is clear none of these (BIG PRINTERS) were equipped with this type of technology. Too bad they went down. Hopefully they will pick up again and get that raised spot uv working because NOBODY DOES RAISED SPOT UV WITH THAT GANG PRICING. :(:(:(:(

Sounds like a classic close down and open under a new name and avoid paying suppliers and taxes to me. #ethicalprinting
