Marquis Book Printing Invests $9 million in New Equipment
MONTMAGNY, QUEBEC—
Montmagny plant adding $11million in equipment
Montmagny 250,000 sq. ft.  book printing plant . 
The first step has already begun, with the installation of three digital ink jet presses( Fuji roll fed) , two assembly lines and two perfect binder lines. This first phase, which requires a $9-million investment, allows Marquis to produce an additional 3 billion pages at their  Montmagny plant. The key component  is that all of the new equipment installed will be interconnected using an automated production flow called PACEX.

This industry 4.0 version technology enables direct communication with the equipment without human intervention and cutting down on paper usage.Marquis specializes in printing books, magazines and catalogues. They are Canada's largest printer of monochrome books with customers in Canada, US and Europe. Dating back to 1937 their slogan is from 1 to 1 million books. They were listed as Canada's 27 th largest printer by Graphic Monthly and have a staff of 385.
