Reliable Debt Over $11 million

The total amount owed by Reliable Bookbinders appears to have reached over $11 million. The largest creditor was Business Development Bank for over $6 million. The list of unsecured creditors reaches over 70. Some of the companies associated with Reliable appear on the list. The former owner also appeared on the list of secured creditors.It has been estimated that there sale were between $5million to $7 million.

According to the papers filled Reliable Bookbinders had a staff of 95. They had the largest capacity for perfect binding in the Toronto area. Reliable Bookbinders was  started in 1945 and was originally a union shop. The first meeting of creditors is June 4th. The receiver is PWC. 
The closing of Reliable has created a very tight market in Toronto for perfect binding.
