Kawartha Envelopes closing
BRAMPTON—
Kawartha Envelopes Ltd. a trade envelope printer is closing down at the end of August. At one time it was the largest jet shop in the Greater Toronto Area. Kawartha built it's business on the Halm jet envelope press. The owners the Myers family are retiring from the industry. It will be an orderly shut down with equipment being actioned off near the end of August.

Kawartha has seven jet presses ranging from a small two colour to a four colour super jet. They were one of the first trade envelope printer in Canada. The company was started by the father that taken over by the sons. The building has been sold .

Very sorry to hear that Kawartha Envelopes is closing. It has been a pleasure doing business with Sandy and family and staff for over 25 years. They have always provided fine quality, excellent service and been a pleasure to deal with. One of the good ones.
