JB Printing missing in action
NEWMARKET— JB Printing in the Toronto area appears to have closed it's doors. PrintCAN has not been able to to reach the company but the phone disconnects after several rings. Staff was not able to get in last week and several customers were not able to get their jobs. JB Printing had at lease 2 40 inch presses. They did some trade work and have been around since 1989. It is estimated that they had about 20 employees and approached about $3million in sales. They have no connection with JB Print of Kingston who have been getting some of their calls. If more information becomes available we will keep you posted.

JB has declared bankruptcy. On Tuesday 18 April, 2017 we were called to meeting, told to get our things and leave. Staff had dwindled over the last decade to about 10. Probably due to no active sales staff involved with the company and the "trade printer" aspect failed to yield sufficient sales.

Unfortunately JB has declared bankruptcy. After 45+ years they closed the doors on Tuesday 18 April 2017. Staff were called to meeting and then told to get things and leave. They had a single 40" Mits press and Multi's, with various bindery. Staff had dwindled over the last decade to about 15 employees.
